How to clean dermaroller with alcohol

Dermarolla is cleaned through three methods. The methods are detailed below.

1. Discard Residue

When you roll a derma roller on your face, it is often seen that skin cells and dry blood get sliced in tiny needles. To solve this problem, you can remove it using a toothbrush or a sponge. I am telling you how to remove it with these two.

The processing with a toothbrush

First, you need to mix some liquid detergent and water in a container. Then dip the dermaroller in this mixture and gently scrub the residue with a soft toothbrush. But remember not to clean too much while doing it because your strong shaking can cause delicate needle damage.

Then wash it with warm water and repeat until you are sure there are no residues.

The processing with a sponge

Bacteria usually stick to the needle, and we can use a sponge instead of a toothbrush to remove it.

Use soapy water with a clean sponge and roll the dermaroller a few times over the HP surface. It can remove skin products, skin cells, or blood from the crevices of the device, which is difficult to clean. Then rinse well with soapy water.

2. Rinse and sterilize

This round is the most significant. This step will ensure that there are no germs and bacteria before you use the dermaroller.  You can use alcohol to disinfect it.

Using alcohol

To suitably clean the dermaroller for micro-needling, you need to soak it in isopropyl alcohol. Usually, these things are identified as rubbing alcohol, and it is used as a disinfectant. You can quickly get it online or at any pharmacy.

But you need to ensure that you are using 70% concentrated rubbing alcohol, no more or less. Because the more concentrated solution evaporates faster and the less full resolution is not strong enough to remove germs.

Then the head of the dermaroller should dip in a bowl with rubbing alcohol. 

Try to keep your dermaroller upside down to avoid pressure on the needles. Devices from Dermaroller make it easy because of their curve inlet. And keep in brain that if you set the hands-down, do not touch the down surface.

Soak it in an alcohol solution for at least 10 to 15 minutes.

3. Wash and dry

Then remove your device from the alcohol solution and rinse well with warm water.

How to clean dermaroller with hydrogen peroxide

The best ingredient for dermaroller cleaning is hydrogen peroxide. It is a mild antiseptic that is used to deter burn infections on the skin.

It is a beneficial disinfectant. It can kill bacteria, viruses, and fungi. A solution of 3% concentration of hydrogen peroxide is sufficient to clean most surfaces. So you can use it to clean your dermaroller.

The steps listed in the alcohol procedure should be followed here too but only use hydrogen peroxide instead of alcohol. And soak the dermaroller with hydrogen peroxide for 10 to 15 minutes. Cleaning derma roller with hydrogen peroxide is an effective process.
